Role Overview
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Grow team, you'll drive the development of ML-powered advertising capabilities that seamlessly integrate with creative workflows. Your work will directly influence how users generate and refine ad content, bridging machine learning with real-world design applications.
What You'll Do
- Develop, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models that enhance ad creation and recommendation experiences
- Design and implement scalable data and model pipelines in collaboration with platform engineering teams
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define user-centric solutions and shape product direction
- Run structured experiments to assess model performance and guide iterative improvements
- Advance shared ML infrastructure and promote best practices across teams
- Stay current with emerging techniques in generative AI and explore practical applications at scale
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering ML features into production environments
- Strong command of Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Hands-on expertise across the full ML lifecycle: data processing, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
- Direct experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, diffusion models, RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning
- Familiarity with platforms like OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Anthropic, and experience with embedding-based systems
- A product-focused mindset with an emphasis on user impact and measurable outcomes
- Commitment to building maintainable, scalable systems with clear performance metrics
- Active interest in ethical AI and responsible data practices
- Experience mentoring peers and sharing technical knowledge
