As a Senior Mobile Application Engineer, you will take full ownership of building and refining customer-facing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native and TypeScript. Your role will span the entire development lifecycle—from initial concept and technical design through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable features that deliver a seamless user experience across devices
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to define requirements and integrate APIs effectively
- Ensure applications meet platform-specific standards for performance, security, and usability, including compliance with App Store and Google Play guidelines
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests using tools like Jest, Enzyme, and Detox to maintain stability and reduce regressions
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, code signing, and app store submissions using Fastlane, EAS, or equivalent systems
- Work with native modules when needed to extend functionality and enhance performance
- Promote modern React Native practices, including modular architecture, efficient state management with Redux Toolkit, and adoption of emerging technologies like Fabric and TurboModules
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in developing and shipping production-grade mobile applications across both platforms
- Strong command of React Native, TypeScript, and core ecosystem libraries including React Navigation and Redux Toolkit
- Deep knowledge of mobile app lifecycles, performance optimization, and debugging techniques
- Experience writing and maintaining automated test suites to ensure code quality
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment workflows for mobile apps
- Ability to lead technical direction and mentor best practices within a collaborative engineering environment
Preferred candidates will demonstrate hands-on experience with advanced React Native architectures and automated deployment tools such as Fastlane or EAS.
