Responsibilities
- Design, run, and sustain automated test scripts for iOS and Android apps using tools like Appium or Detox.
- Create and manage continuous integration pipelines for mobile testing, integrating with systems such as GitLab CI.
- Lead both manual and automated testing efforts for mobile user interfaces, core functionality, and device-specific behaviors including gestures, permissions, offline modes, and hardware diversity.
- Conduct performance, load, and stability assessments on mobile platforms to detect issues related to memory, rendering, battery drain, and network responsiveness.
- Ensure application compatibility across various devices, operating system versions, screen sizes, and hardware setups.
- Produce clear documentation for test scenarios, automation approaches, quality assurance standards, and criteria for mobile release approval.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and product teams to align test coverage with feature specifications and mobile user experience best practices.
- Support ongoing enhancements to QA methodologies, tooling, and test automation frameworks for mobile platforms.
