As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a central role in maintaining and securing multi-client IT infrastructures within a U.S.-facing MSP environment. Your expertise will ensure systems remain resilient, secure, and efficiently managed through proactive maintenance and strategic automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, contain, and resolve security incidents using platforms such as Huntress and Blumira, with full documentation of actions and outcomes
- Conduct routine system reviews, coordinate patching, and standardize environments to maintain operational consistency
- Develop and deploy PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks including user lifecycle management and reporting
- Manage service delivery through ConnectWise Manage, ensuring timely resolution and clear client communication
- Monitor, diagnose, and remediate system issues remotely using Datto RMM
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for repeatable solutions and standard operating procedures
- Lead disaster recovery planning efforts and execute regular testing across client environments
- Perform emergency recovery operations for virtual machines and physical servers when outages occur
- Administer Windows Server systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services
- Manage Microsoft 365 configurations and enforce identity and security policies in Azure
- Support and troubleshoot networking components such as firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless networks, with a preference for Meraki experience
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule focused exclusively on critical infrastructure outages
Qualifications
Candidates must have extensive experience in managed service environments and a proven ability to resolve advanced infrastructure and security challenges. Core competencies should include automation, preventive maintenance, and system hardening.
Proficiency with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP) and Microsoft 365 with Azure identity management is required. Hands-on experience supporting firewalls, VPNs, switching, and wireless networks is essential.
Preferred skills include familiarity with Meraki networking hardware, experience using UniFi or Netgear systems, and a background in security alert response with tools like Huntress or Blumira. Prior work with ConnectWise Manage, Datto RMM, and formal disaster recovery execution will strengthen your application.
