Position Overview
A well-established technology services organization seeks a Senior Network Engineer to lead the development and support of mission-critical network systems. This role demands deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset to ensure resilient, high-performance connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade routing and switching solutions
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multi-vendor environments
- Support secure connectivity through firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust architectures
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate network solutions with cloud platforms
- Document network configurations, policies, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking hardware
- Strong command of protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLAN routing
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE are highly preferred
- Experience with automation tools and network monitoring platforms
