Role Overview
Join an infrastructure team focused on delivering reliable, scalable network solutions across global enterprise environments. In this position, you'll play a central role in shaping network architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud platforms, and maintaining robust performance standards across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, efficient network solutions for LAN, WAN, and hybrid cloud environments, aligning infrastructure with evolving business needs.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and minimal service disruption.
- Monitor network performance across data centers and cloud platforms, proactively identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues to maintain high availability.
- Develop and execute test strategies for network functionality, integrity, and stress tolerance, supporting both new deployments and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate emerging technologies, assess vendor tools, and recommend improvements for network efficiency and security.
- Respond to service requests, track resolution progress, and maintain accurate records in support systems to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Support enterprise-wide connectivity by diagnosing and resolving complex network issues, minimizing downtime and supporting business continuity.
- Apply best practices in network administration, including security protocols, redundancy planning, and Zero Trust Networking principles.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructures.
- Proficiency with Cisco networking platforms and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler or similar Zero Trust solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and deadlines.
Preferred
- Familiarity with current trends in network automation, cloud integration, and cybersecurity.
- Experience designing test networks and evaluating test platforms for performance validation.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and protocols to support resilient infrastructure design.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role with occasional travel of up to 10% to support network operations and deployments. The position operates within a collaborative, technically driven environment focused on innovation and operational excellence.
