Shape how change is delivered at scale within a global organization. As a Senior PMO Specialist, you will be embedded in the Transformation Office, providing independent oversight and guidance to ensure strategic initiatives are executed with discipline, clarity, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and maintain practical project and change management frameworks, templates, and tools that balance standardization with flexibility based on initiative complexity.
- Conduct independent quality assessments of projects—including health checks, gate reviews, and deep dives—evaluating scope definition, business case integrity, risk exposure, resourcing, timelines, and change readiness.
- Identify systemic risks, cross-project dependencies, and change saturation across the portfolio, escalating patterns and early warning signals to leadership forums.
- Support recovery efforts for high-risk or underperforming initiatives by challenging assumptions and trade-offs—without assuming delivery ownership.
- Generate integrated, fact-based insights on cost, progress, risk, capacity, and benefits to inform decision-making at the portfolio level.
- Coach project managers, change leads, and business owners in execution excellence, change leadership, and fit-for-purpose delivery approaches.
- Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to senior stakeholders, offering constructive challenge while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Drive adoption of proven ways of working, ensuring governance is effective without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Continuously improve standards by capturing lessons learned and translating them into enhanced methods, training, and tooling.
- Facilitate decision-quality by ensuring clear definitions of done, ownership, and trade-off awareness across initiatives.
What You Bring
- 8–12+ years of hands-on experience in project, program, or portfolio management, with a focus on transformation, change delivery, or PMO roles within multinational, matrixed environments.
- Proven ability to work across complex, cross-functional initiatives and apply hybrid delivery approaches (agile, waterfall, or blended).
- Strong grasp of financial planning, business case validation, resource forecasting, and risk management principles.
- Experience in quality assurance, governance frameworks, and change adoption strategies.
- Skilled in identifying patterns, systems thinking, and facilitating difficult conversations with credibility at senior levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MSc, MPA) with a focus on transformation or organizational change is preferred.
