JUMBO Consulting Group A/S is hiring a Senior Procurement & Contracts Manager - Onshore Wind

About the Role

Lead procurement and contracts strategy for a growing onshore wind portfolio in Australia, with initial focus on turbine supply, balance of plant (BOP), and operations & maintenance (O&M) agreements. This role plays a central part in shaping commercial outcomes across project development and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute end-to-end procurement strategies, including RFIs, RFPs, evaluation processes, and final contract award recommendations
  • Negotiate and finalize complex agreements such as turbine supply contracts, service arrangements, and EPC or supply and installation scopes
  • Coordinate input from legal, technical, financial, and commercial stakeholders while adhering to governance frameworks and approval workflows
  • Ensure optimal balance of cost, quality, schedule, and risk across all procurement decisions
  • Monitor contractor performance, manage variations, claims, and change processes in line with contractual obligations
  • Provide ongoing interpretation of contract terms, oversee compliance, and maintain clear communication with counterparties
  • Support governance activities, including stakeholder reporting and presentations to decision-making bodies
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and the development of standardized tools and best practices
  • Help build team capability as the organization expands its footprint in the Australian renewable energy market

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement or contract management on utility-scale onshore wind projects
  • Direct involvement in negotiating and administering Turbine Supply Agreements (TSAs) and related wind turbine contracts
  • Familiarity with BOP and O&M contract structures and commercial models
  • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and manage multidisciplinary inputs
  • Strong organizational skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach
  • Experience working on projects in Australia is essential
  • Background in BESS or utility-scale solar PV is an advantage
  • Degree in engineering, law, business, or another relevant discipline
