The Senior Product Analyst plays a central role in connecting product teams across business domains, ensuring that evolving needs are accurately captured, analyzed, and transformed into actionable technical deliverables. This position serves as a key liaison between global stakeholders and development teams, driving clarity and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage deeply with stakeholders to uncover underlying business objectives beyond initial requests, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
- Challenge and refine incoming requirements to confirm feasibility, completeness, and strategic fit with product goals.
- Convert business inputs into structured functional specifications and detailed user stories that guide development work.
- Lead discussions with requesters to define scope, identify dependencies, and surface edge cases early in the process.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, application developers, QA, UAT, and enablement teams across multiple regions to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support agile workflows including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and PI planning cycles.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, adapting tone and approach for diverse cultural contexts.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Confluence and Jira, including requirement tracking and process flows.
- Monitor project timelines, follow up on outstanding inputs, and coordinate testing and release readiness activities.
- Apply structured problem-solving methods such as DMAIC to support continuous improvement in delivery processes.
- Create visual process models using tools like Visio or Miro to clarify system interactions and workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring at least three years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or related roles—exceptions may be made for strong skill alignment. Strong analytical reasoning is essential, with the ability to distill complex inputs into precise, actionable documentation.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Kanban boards is required. Familiarity with Power BI, excellent written and verbal English communication, and the ability to operate independently within a team-oriented environment are critical. Demonstrated success in managing stakeholder expectations, driving accountability, and clarifying ambiguous requests is expected.
Preferred qualifications include foundational knowledge of programming logic, experience with survey or market research platforms, and exposure to structured methodologies such as DMAIC. Experience interpreting or building workflow diagrams and participation in SAFe or Scrum events is advantageous.
