About the Role

Oversee end-to-end project execution for large-scale educational content initiatives, aligning production timelines, resources, and deliverables across curriculum teams. Guide planning, scheduling, and risk management using structured methodologies to ensure reliable on-time and on-budget outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply project management best practices to define scope, track progress, and manage changes across concurrent initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to identify resource needs and coordinate project workflows
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans in Smartsheet, including task dependencies and milestones
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead regular status meetings, adjust schedules proactively, and serve as central point of coordination between teams
  • Manage change requests related to scope, timeline, or resources, ensuring clear documentation and alignment
  • Track and report key performance metrics to evaluate project success and inform continuous improvement
  • Facilitate pre-launch training sessions and post-project reviews to capture learnings and refine processes
  • Maintain project tracking systems in 10,000 ft. and Smartsheet for accurate forecasting and resource planning
  • Support the development of internal project management standards, documentation, and training materials

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in education, business, information systems, or a related field, along with at least five years of hands-on project management experience. Candidates must demonstrate proven ability to lead complex, multi-phase projects in fast-paced environments, with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience managing third-party logistics providers—particularly in warehousing, fulfillment, and shipping—is essential. Familiarity with order-to-cash cycles, inventory workflows, and fulfillment operations is highly valued. Candidates should also bring technical fluency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with hands-on experience in Smartsheet, JIRA, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and resource planning tools like 10,000 ft.

Proficiency in negotiation, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration is critical. The ideal candidate adapts quickly to change, maintains accountability under pressure, and sustains focus across competing priorities.

  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or SharePoint platforms
