Responsibilities
- Create and manage both manual and automated end-to-end test approaches covering user interfaces and backend services.
- Develop and sustain automated test suites using the Cucumber Behavior-Driven Development framework with a focus on clarity, maintainability, and alignment with business goals.
- Carry out detailed API testing using Postman to verify request and response structures, authentication processes, error management, and system performance.
- Validate front-end applications across multiple browsers and devices to ensure functionality and a uniform user experience.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins by integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes for continuous quality assurance.
- Engage in testing activities for big data initiatives, confirming data accuracy, pipeline results, and query outputs across large volumes of information.
- Execute performance and load testing to detect system bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement corrective actions.
- Construct and run SQL queries to verify data correctness, consistency, and reliability at the database layer.
- Monitor and document defects, test cases, and QA milestones using Jira, ensuring transparent and well-organized records throughout project timelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams during Agile and Scrum events, including sprint planning, story refinement, and retrospective meetings.
