The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and advancing quality standards for the servicing of reusable medical devices, supporting critical product lines within the organization. This position ensures robust quality systems are in place across service operations, with a strong focus on compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain quality processes and protocols specific to the servicing of medical devices
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to integrate and uphold quality requirements across functions
- Develop and apply standardized methods for service and repair workflows to enhance consistency and compliance
- Lead or support internal and external audits related to quality management systems from the auditee perspective
- Verify that corrective actions meet reliability benchmarks and that all documentation aligns with regulatory expectations
- Drive projects aimed at improving compliance, reducing variability, and standardizing service processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science field, plus at least 4 years of experience in Quality or Engineering; an advanced degree may substitute for experience
- Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis and managing CAPAs as a responsible owner
- Direct experience preparing for and participating in internal and external audits
- Background in change control processes within regulated environments
- Experience in manufacturing or service operations with a focus on quality systems
- Prior work in medical devices or pharmaceuticals is required
