About the Role

Role Overview

This position is for a Senior Sales Engineer supporting the Major Accounts team in the Western region. The role is fully remote, open to candidates across the United States, and reports to the Sales Engineering Manager. You will serve as a technical advisor during the sales process, working closely with prospective clients to understand their infrastructure needs and demonstrate how solutions align with their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-depth technical presentations tailored to customer use cases and environments
  • Identify and analyze customer requirements to design effective, customized solutions
  • Lead hands-on product evaluations, including configuration and integration support
  • Develop and execute test plans in collaboration with customers to validate performance and functionality

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have at least seven years of experience in sales engineering or network systems integration. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected, though equivalent professional experience may be considered. Demonstrated technical proficiency in core networking protocols and security infrastructure is essential, including practical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and VPN technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+ are highly valued and may strengthen a candidate’s application.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $177,000 to $221,250 USD.
