This role partners with sales leadership to improve effectiveness by designing and implementing operational strategies, tools, and insights that support a high-performing sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales leaders to identify performance gaps and recommend data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and reporting systems
- Analyze sales metrics to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and guide decision-making
- Support the implementation of sales technologies and CRM enhancements
- Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Partner with finance to align sales targets with revenue goals
- Lead sales planning initiatives, including quota setting and territory design
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across sales systems
- Design and deliver training for sales teams on new tools and processes
- Monitor adoption of sales operations initiatives and adjust strategies as needed
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, and operations
- Manage special projects related to sales transformation and change management
- Evaluate the impact of sales programs and recommend optimizations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape
- Support onboarding of new sales team members with operational resources
- Develop standardized sales playbooks and documentation
- Track key performance indicators and report on operational health
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort in sales workflows
- Coordinate with IT on integration of sales tools and data platforms
- Provide ad hoc analysis for executive leadership and sales management
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in sales operations
- Gather feedback from field teams to improve support systems
- Assist in the evaluation of new sales technologies or vendors
