About the Role

Shape the future of personalized medicine through advanced theoretical and computational modeling. As a Senior Scientist, you will design and refine mathematical frameworks that describe complex physical systems, directly supporting breakthroughs in healthcare technology. Your work will bridge abstract theory and real-world experimentation, ensuring models are both scientifically rigorous and practically viable.

What You'll Do

  • Develop computational models grounded in differential equations, quantum mechanics, and statistical physics to simulate biological and physical processes relevant to clinical applications.
  • Collaborate closely with experimental scientists to transform theoretical insights into testable predictions, guiding data acquisition and interpretation.
  • Use numerical simulations and analytical methods to explore system behavior, refining models based on empirical feedback.
  • Leverage Python, Julia, or similar tools to implement and optimize computational workflows for signal and data analysis.
  • Interpret experimental results through a theoretical lens, ensuring alignment between predicted and observed phenomena.
  • Stay current with advancements in spectroscopy, computational physics, and modeling techniques to inform ongoing research.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly across disciplines, enabling seamless collaboration between theory and lab teams.
  • Support the publication of research, contribute to intellectual property development, and present work at scientific forums.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven background in theoretical or computational physics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field, with experience applying models to experimental systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at the theory-experiment interface, ideally in interdisciplinary or applied research settings.
  • Strong proficiency in numerical modeling, simulation techniques, and scientific programming using Python, Julia, or equivalent languages.
  • Experience formulating and solving physical models using differential equations and computational frameworks.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with a track record of translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • History of peer-reviewed publications or presentations at major scientific conferences.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to signal processing, data-driven modeling, or machine learning in scientific contexts.
  • A driven, inquisitive mindset with a passion for solving complex, interdisciplinary problems.
