Jensen Hughes is hiring a Senior Security Consultant

About the Role

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive security strategies for clients throughout the Middle East. Your work will span from initial concept through to construction-ready documentation, delivering custom solutions that integrate electronic systems, physical design, and environmental planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end security systems, progressing from concept to detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and BIM (LOD 300), ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Apply advanced knowledge across access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, networking, and intercommunication systems, including AI-enhanced technologies and infrastructure calculations for power, heat, and bandwidth.
  • Incorporate physical site hardening techniques using barriers, landscaping, street furniture, and environmental art to support security objectives.
  • Utilize Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and defense-in-depth principles to strengthen overall site resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with regional security standards, including those set by SIRA in the UAE and MOI in Saudi Arabia, and clearly demonstrate adherence to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver client-specific presentations that articulate security goals, proposed systems, and the foundational standards guiding the design.
  • Produce detailed proposals outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while managing project finances, schedules, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to seamlessly integrate security into broader project frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in security studies, security management, or equivalent professional certification such as CPP, CSC, or PSP.
  • At least 10 years of direct experience in security system design, technical documentation, and proposal development, with proven work in physical layouts, equipment room planning, and environmental security integration.
  • Strong analytical abilities with confidence in presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting specifications, technical reports, and project proposals.
  • Proven project management track record, capable of overseeing multiple assignments on time and within budget.
  • Willingness to travel across the Middle East as project needs arise.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in high-rise buildings, hospitality venues, shopping centers, transportation hubs, airports, rail, and metro systems.
  • Familiarity with UAE and KSA security regulations and compliance frameworks.

Work Environment

This role operates in a hybrid model, with flexibility for remote work and project-based presence in India, UAE, Qatar, or KSA. You will benefit from a supportive leadership structure, a commitment to professional development, and opportunities for career progression within a globally recognized firm.

Company Values

The organization fosters a culture rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging individuality and integrity. Innovation is encouraged, with a responsible approach to emerging technologies including AI. The workplace emphasizes trust, ethical conduct, and continuous growth.
