Responsibilities
- Create and manage security platforms, services, APIs, and internal tools that safeguard data across cloud, SaaS, endpoint, and analytics platforms.
- Develop scalable systems for data discovery, classification, governance, access management, monitoring, and protection using automation and modern engineering methods.
- Strengthen capabilities in cloud access security brokers, data loss prevention, data security posture management, SaaS security posture management, insider risk, and data access governance to prevent unauthorized data exposure.
- Implement and maintain data loss prevention controls across diverse operating systems, cloud platforms, and distributed datasets, tuning defenses against advanced threats.
- Advance automation in data loss prevention engineering and operations by applying large language models, agentic AI, and automation-first strategies to improve efficiency and scale.
- Establish security controls for SaaS applications, collaboration tools, endpoints, and critical business services.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, privacy, legal, and business units to support productivity while enforcing strong data protection.
- Build security measures for modern data platforms, data warehouses, AI-driven systems, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Review data architectures, access models, and security settings, promoting secure-by-design through threat modeling and best practices.
- Continuously explore ways to apply AI, automation, and modern engineering to address data security challenges.
- Assess emerging technologies and lead adoption when they deliver clear security and operational benefits.
