Role Overview
Lead the design and implementation of robust ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise IT service management, incident response, and regulatory compliance. As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining platform functionality with a strong focus on ITSM, DORA-driven operational resilience, and audit-ready workflows. Your work will ensure the system remains scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and modules to support incident, risk, and compliance processes
- Own end-to-end platform functionality, driving improvements in stability, performance, and usability
- Translate business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders into effective platform solutions
- Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Enhance and support SOX and audit compliance features within ServiceNow
- Strengthen operational resilience by refining incident management and risk workflows in line with DORA standards
- Collaborate on platform governance, contributing to best practices and secure development standards
- Support platform upgrades, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
- At least 5 years focused on ServiceNow ITSM and development
- Proven ownership of ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms
- Experience with operational resilience frameworks, particularly in regulated environments
- Background in SOX or audit/compliance process support
- Strong integration skills using REST or SOAP APIs
- Ability to work effectively with non-technical teams to deliver practical, user-friendly solutions
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB configuration
- Experience in infrastructure, asset, or configuration management systems
- Work history in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, or fintech
Work Environment
This is a fully remote, full-time position based in India. Work hours are fixed: 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM IST during summer and 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST in winter.
