Role Overview

Lead the design and implementation of robust ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise IT service management, incident response, and regulatory compliance. As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining platform functionality with a strong focus on ITSM, DORA-driven operational resilience, and audit-ready workflows. Your work will ensure the system remains scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and modules to support incident, risk, and compliance processes
  • Own end-to-end platform functionality, driving improvements in stability, performance, and usability
  • Translate business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders into effective platform solutions
  • Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Enhance and support SOX and audit compliance features within ServiceNow
  • Strengthen operational resilience by refining incident management and risk workflows in line with DORA standards
  • Collaborate on platform governance, contributing to best practices and secure development standards
  • Support platform upgrades, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • At least 5 years focused on ServiceNow ITSM and development
  • Proven ownership of ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms
  • Experience with operational resilience frameworks, particularly in regulated environments
  • Background in SOX or audit/compliance process support
  • Strong integration skills using REST or SOAP APIs
  • Ability to work effectively with non-technical teams to deliver practical, user-friendly solutions

Preferred Background

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB configuration
  • Experience in infrastructure, asset, or configuration management systems
  • Work history in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, or fintech

Work Environment

This is a fully remote, full-time position based in India. Work hours are fixed: 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM IST during summer and 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST in winter.
