Join a forward-thinking team as a Senior ServiceNow Quality Assurance Analyst, where you'll play a key role in validating and improving enterprise-grade ServiceNow implementations. This position focuses on delivering reliable, scalable solutions through rigorous manual and automated testing practices across ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, and CSM modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, refine, and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts for ServiceNow enhancements and system releases
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure system integrity
- Validate workflows, service catalogs, forms, notifications, and third-party integrations within ServiceNow
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, ensuring timely resolution prior to deployment
- Verify configurations and customizations meet business requirements and compliance standards
- Support testing during ServiceNow upgrades and patch cycles
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow ATF, Selenium, or similar frameworks
- Manage test data and maintain consistency across testing environments
- Report on test outcomes, quality trends, and potential risks throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to align on requirements and acceptance criteria
- Engage in Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist end users during UAT and provide guidance on test execution
- Keep QA documentation up to date, including test results and defect logs
- Help shape and improve QA standards specific to the ServiceNow platform
- Communicate testing progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- At least three years working directly with the ServiceNow platform and its Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- Two or more years of hands-on experience with core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, HRSD, ITOM, or CSM
- Three years using test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent
- Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and workflow management
- Familiarity with API and integration testing methodologies
- Proven understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation abilities
- Eligibility to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be currently residing in the U.S. and authorized to work without restriction; all work must be performed within the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certification, such as Certified System Administrator or equivalent
- Additional experience in API and integration testing
- Background in consulting, U.S. federal government projects, or healthcare IT environments
Work Environment
This role is 100% remote, available to candidates anywhere in the continental United States. Core collaboration hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time, with flexibility to accommodate different time zones. Occasional travel may be required for quarterly in-person meetings.
