Ellipsis Health is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Create, expand, and manage automated testing frameworks for functional, regression, and integration tests using tools like Selenium or Playwright
  • Write and run automated test cases for Salesforce platforms, covering custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and Lightning Web Components
  • Verify complete business processes, including logic built in Apex, system integrations, and data movement
  • Incorporate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows to support continuous testing and accelerate deployment frequency
  • Test Salesforce API connections using REST and SOAP protocols, ensuring accurate and consistent data exchange
  • Log, monitor, and follow up on software defects using Jira or comparable systems, working closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Develop and update test plans, data management approaches, and reusable quality assurance resources to increase test coverage and efficiency
  • Engage in Agile team rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to discussions centered on product quality
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to evaluate bugs, set defect priorities, and analyze potential release risks
