Responsibilities
- Develop technical implementations for new product features and system improvements.
- Follow established software design principles, including design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Build solutions that are scalable, adaptable, resilient, and secure by design.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems and applications.
- Integrate AI-powered development tools into daily workflows to speed up coding and testing, while retaining full responsibility for design and code integrity.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-structured code that is easy to test.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards, aiming to improve them over time.
- Design and implement both automated and manual testing procedures for new functionality.
- Keep technical documentation accurate and up to date.
- Take initiative to identify and implement improvements in systems and workflows.
- Actively engage in team meetings and stand-ups, offering suggestions and new approaches.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product specialists, and business analysts.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical support issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code with consistency and enthusiasm.
- Background in developing large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems with strong operational understanding.
- Active involvement throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and product management teams.
- Technical leadership in major projects and architectural decisions.
- Strong skills in Microsoft .NET framework.
- Proficient in Angular with TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with microservices-based system design.
Nice to Have
- Prior use of AI-assisted coding tools such as Anthropic Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or CodeRabbit.
