What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput services using Java within a distributed microservices architecture
- Drive improvements in system stability, performance, and code quality across the platform
- Take full operational ownership of services, including participation in on-call rotations
- Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to refine and prioritize feature development
- Apply modern technologies to solve complex challenges at scale, across hybrid environments
- Contribute to technical decision-making and help define the long-term direction of the product
What We're Looking For
- At least four years of hands-on experience with Java development
- Proven background in building and operating large-scale, distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, as well as on-premise infrastructure
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong communication skills in English, with experience working across global teams
- Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus
Technology Environment
You'll work with a modern stack including Java 8 and 11, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures, across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. Databases include MySQL, Cassandra, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch, with infrastructure managed through Puppet and secured via OAuth2.0 and Vault.
