As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Ledger team, you will architect and maintain the foundational systems that serve as the single source of truth for transactional data across a high-volume brokerage platform. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, performance, and compliance of financial operations at scale.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems with a focus on correctness, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Partner with finance, operations, and product teams to define and deliver high-priority features
- Lead initiatives from concept through deployment, ensuring robustness and observability
- Collaborate with engineering peers to strengthen system health, reliability, and operational practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience building and operating systems at scale
- Strong proficiency in Go, with familiarity in protocol buffers and gRPC
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and cloud platforms like GCP
- Proven ability to debug complex issues and anticipate system-level risks
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, depending on the challenge
- Skill in aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders around shared goals
Preferred Background
- Experience in financial services, accounting, or distributed ledger systems
- Familiarity with distributed databases, event-driven architectures, or messaging systems like Redpanda
- Remote work experience, particularly in a startup or fast-moving environment
- Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities
Compensation & Benefits
