Design and deliver production-grade solutions in a regulated financial services environment, focusing on data transformation, workflow automation, and rapid time-to-value. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will lead the full lifecycle of technical delivery—from scoping and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing support—on a modern, AI-integrated platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of technical features, delivering them incrementally with a focus on outcomes, reliability, and maintainability.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable plans by identifying constraints, defining scope, and aligning stakeholders.
- Build secure, observable, and auditable solutions by default, applying sound engineering practices across performance, scalability, and risk control.
- Leverage AI tools throughout the development lifecycle—for analysis, testing, and documentation—while rigorously validating all outputs through review and automated checks.
- Design and configure reusable templates, data models, and workflows to increase team efficiency and consistency.
- Write and optimize SQL queries with attention to schema design, indexing, and performance trade-offs.
- Process and transform structured and semi-structured data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and Excel with precision and automation.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites—unit, configuration, and integration tests—to ensure solution integrity and long-term stability.
- Keep technical documentation accurate and actionable, using AI-assisted drafting while ensuring correctness and usability.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver client outcomes, not just technical output, in a regulated, mission-critical context.
- Support team growth by sharing knowledge, improving delivery playbooks, and helping raise quality standards across the engineering tribe.
- Champion safe release practices, continuous learning, and modern development workflows including CI/CD and code review.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery of complex, data-driven systems in regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and XML, including data modeling, transformation, and validation.
- Familiarity with software development practices: version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience implementing solutions involving data ingestion, enrichment, validation, or workflow logic.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET or a similar language; solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated use of AI as a routine development partner, with disciplined verification of results.
- Academic background in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of five years in roles such as Solutions Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical delivery functions.
- Pragmatic problem solver with a customer-focused mindset and a track record of delivering in fast-moving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to tax operations or financial data domains (helpful but not required).
Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid model, with 2–3 days per week expected in the office and flexibility for remote work the remainder of the week. The team values inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on modern practices including AI-augmented development.
Company Values
- Client Centricity: Prioritize client outcomes and long-term success.
- One Team: Work collaboratively across functions and disciplines.
- Impactful: Focus on delivering measurable results.
- Integrity and Accountability: Own commitments and follow through.
- Continuous Learning: Stay curious, adapt quickly, and share knowledge.
- Inclusion: Foster a respectful, diverse, and psychologically safe environment.
- Modern Practices: Embrace AI, automation, and iterative delivery.
