Shape technical direction and lead engineering efforts in a collaborative, global setting. As a Senior Specialist Software Engineer, you'll serve as a key technical authority, guiding teams through complex challenges and supporting the resolution of critical client issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Act as the escalation point for advanced technical issues within your domain.
- Investigate and resolve client-reported problems by reproducing environments and validating fixes.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and customization of software solutions to meet client needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review, test, and approve code changes and system configurations.
- Facilitate grooming sessions and contribute to performance tracking and process improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure technical documentation remains accurate and up to date.
Required Expertise
- Minimum of 10 years in software development, technical support, or consulting roles.
- Proven experience leading technical teams or serving in a team lead, Scrum Master, or similar capacity.
- Strong command of Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL, and related technologies.
- Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, and enterprise application servers including Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic.
- Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and Java-based architectures.
- Background in debugging, scripting, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Direct experience supporting enterprise clients in production environments.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Scala or functional programming paradigms is advantageous.
Work Environment
