Role Overview
This position is for a Senior Systems Engineer based in Barcelona, serving enterprise clients across the Nordic region. You will act as a technical advisor, working closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions using enterprise cloud platforms, virtualization, and data management technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to assess business challenges and recommend effective, technology-driven solutions.
- Support sales strategies by developing account plans and contributing to compelling proposals.
- Deliver dynamic product demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Lead proof-of-concept evaluations, guiding them from setup to successful conclusion.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with enterprise clients, serving as a reliable source of technical guidance.
- Stay current with product advancements and industry trends to provide expert consultation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align technical insights with regional growth objectives.
- Contribute to team performance by mentoring colleagues and supporting onboarding efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 6–9 years in customer-facing technical roles, including 3–5 years in presales, solutions architecture, or similar.
- Demonstrated expertise in enterprise cloud systems, virtualization, and data infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear technical strategies.
- Fluency in English and one Nordic language—Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian—spoken and written.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts and influence high-value sales cycles.
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
- Commitment to ongoing development and peer mentorship within a collaborative environment.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite in Barcelona, with flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the week. Travel is minimal, primarily limited to local customer visits or team gatherings.
