ADGA Group Consultants Inc is hiring a Senior Technical Architect - Linux Systems & Cloud

Responsibilities

  • Create and update comprehensive system architecture documentation for CV, UCV, and MDTS environments
  • Establish architectural standards across databases, application frameworks, middleware, and infrastructure layers
  • Generate and sustain technical diagrams, system documentation, and Concept of Support deliverables
  • Deploy, configure, tune, and manage Linux-based systems including RHEL, Alma Linux, Ubuntu, AIX, and UNIX
  • Ensure ongoing system functionality through daily checks, monitoring, and planned maintenance activities
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced system and performance problems
  • Lead migration initiatives for CV systems to upgraded Liferay, RHEL/Alma Linux, and PostgreSQL in secure environments
  • Lead migration initiatives for UCV systems to modern platforms hosted in Azure or AWS cloud environments
  • Guarantee secure, seamless transitions with minimal service interruption during system upgrades and relocations
  • Build and maintain Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripts to automate routine administrative functions
  • Enhance operational effectiveness by implementing scripting and automation solutions
  • Maintain and tune Oracle and PostgreSQL database systems
  • Manage and support Liferay (Portal/DXP), Apache HTTPD, and Tomcat environments
  • Evaluate system performance and apply fixes or optimization techniques
  • Develop and implement data backup protocols and disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure high availability and system continuity through resilient design and processes
  • Support IT service management workflows, including Request for Change (RFC) preparation and authorization
  • Deliver technical expertise and mentorship to internal teams
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system operations
