Responsibilities
- Architect and implement ExtraHop sensor deployments across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms, including strategic placement using TAPs, SPAN ports, and traffic mirroring in AWS and Azure
- Design and size packetstores to meet data retention, query efficiency, and compliance needs in high-volume network environments
- Develop custom threat detections and bundles that go beyond default configurations to target specific risks and reduce false positives
- Build tailored Reveal(x) dashboards using wire data to align with SOC operations and executive reporting requirements
- Integrate ExtraHop with SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, and CMDB systems via REST APIs, including custom event triggers and data streaming setups
- Perform network visibility audits for current and potential clients to uncover gaps in east-west monitoring, decryption coverage, and network segmentation
- Partner with clients to refine and enhance their ExtraHop deployment and platform utilization
- Serve as a technical expert for diagnosing and resolving advanced ExtraHop issues during and after implementation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including solution designs and as-built configurations
- Guide junior consultants by sharing expertise in ExtraHop technologies and supporting their professional growth
