As a Senior or Staff Software Developer specializing in Kotlin Multiplatform Tooling, you'll play a key role in advancing developer experiences for Android and cross-platform applications. Your work will directly impact tools used in IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio, enabling developers to build higher-quality apps with greater efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Enhance Android development support for Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose within popular IDEs.
- Contribute to making the Android plugin accessible in IntelliJ IDEA.
- Develop clean, maintainable code and comprehensive documentation.
- Support code quality through peer reviews and by strengthening automated testing frameworks.
- Engage in technical discussions, planning, and team decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For
Applicants should have a proven track record building production Android applications and strong expertise in Kotlin or Java. A solid grasp of algorithms, concurrency models, and data structures is essential. Deep familiarity with the Android ecosystem and active participation in its community are highly valued. Fluency in English is required for collaboration and communication.
Experience with IDEs or developer tooling is a strong advantage, though not mandatory.
