Role Overview
This position serves as the initial contact for clients needing technical assistance, delivering prompt and professional support while advancing your IT career. Based in Brisbane, you'll work within a collaborative team to resolve technical challenges across desktop systems, Microsoft 365 services, and essential infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for client technical inquiries, both remotely and on-site
- Record, assess, and manage incidents and service requests using the Service Desk system
- Deliver first-line support for desktop environments, Microsoft 365 (including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint), and core network services
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients throughout the resolution lifecycle
- Escalate complex issues according to established service protocols
- Develop and update accurate records of client configurations and solutions
- Collaborate with the wider Service Delivery team to ensure consistent, high-quality client outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 components such as user administration, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and firewall operations
- Knowledge of Windows systems, Active Directory, file sharing, and remote access methods
- Client-focused mindset with a composed and proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities
- Authentic interest in IT systems, cloud technologies, and infrastructure operations
Preferred Background
- Graduate of a relevant university or TAFE program, or prior experience in IT support
- Previous role in a service desk or technical support environment
