About the Role

Role Overview

This position serves as the initial contact for clients needing technical assistance, delivering prompt and professional support while advancing your IT career. Based in Brisbane, you'll work within a collaborative team to resolve technical challenges across desktop systems, Microsoft 365 services, and essential infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for client technical inquiries, both remotely and on-site
  • Record, assess, and manage incidents and service requests using the Service Desk system
  • Deliver first-line support for desktop environments, Microsoft 365 (including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint), and core network services
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients throughout the resolution lifecycle
  • Escalate complex issues according to established service protocols
  • Develop and update accurate records of client configurations and solutions
  • Collaborate with the wider Service Delivery team to ensure consistent, high-quality client outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 components such as user administration, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and firewall operations
  • Knowledge of Windows systems, Active Directory, file sharing, and remote access methods
  • Client-focused mindset with a composed and proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Strong written and spoken communication abilities
  • Authentic interest in IT systems, cloud technologies, and infrastructure operations

Preferred Background

  • Graduate of a relevant university or TAFE program, or prior experience in IT support
  • Previous role in a service desk or technical support environment
