Responsibilities
- Create and maintain ServiceNow Service Portal interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Develop Service Portal widgets using AngularJS for dynamic user experiences
- Utilize Bootstrap and other UI frameworks to build consistent, responsive interfaces
- Customize Service Portal widgets, themes, and page layouts to meet business requirements
- Ensure UI components are mobile-optimized and function across browsers
- Implement client-side logic through UI policies, scripts, and event handlers
- Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into intuitive designs
- Follow UX principles for usability, accessibility compliance (WCAG), and visual harmony
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma or Adobe XD
- Maintain brand consistency and design standards across all portal pages
- Connect ServiceNow portals with external systems via REST APIs and web services
- Optimize front-end code for speed, efficiency, and reusability
- Support enhancements in ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and custom federal applications
- Collaborate with architects, back-end developers, and analysts in cross-functional teams
- Engage in Agile/Scrum workflows, including planning, reviews, and sprints
- Conduct UI testing, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation
