Role Overview
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based systems. You'll combine software engineering with infrastructure expertise to build resilient platforms that support critical financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve system issues
- Architect and manage cloud environments on AWS and Azure with a focus on security, reliability, and cost optimization
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, consistent, and safe software deployments
- Apply infrastructure as code principles using CDK and GitLab to automate provisioning and configuration
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application resiliency and performance
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining architectural consistency
- Document system designs, patterns, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity
- Lead improvements in development standards, tooling, and engineering practices across teams
- Work within Agile frameworks to align technical delivery with business needs
- Partner with QA, security, and application teams to strengthen deployment processes and system integrity
Qualifications
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. A minimum of 8 years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles is required. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, though substantial hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Preferred Background
Experience working with AWS cloud platforms is strongly desired. Prior work in financial services—such as asset management, hedge funds, or broker/dealers—will support success in this role.

The role leverages a broad stack including AWS, Azure, CDK, GitLab, Python, Django, Pandas, NumPy, PL/SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Elastic Search, Redis, Kafka, Tableau, Docker, ECS, and EC2.
