We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to help design, scale, and safeguard our infrastructure platform. In this role, you will bridge engineering and operations by building reliable systems that power blockchain indexers, APIs, and data pipelines. Your work will directly impact platform stability, developer efficiency, and long-term scalability.
What You'll Do
- Develop software solutions that improve system availability, performance, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide infrastructure strategy and implementation
- Manage and optimize core systems to support seamless development workflows
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and recovery processes across service lifecycles
- Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation, ensuring rapid resolution and post-mortem improvements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering with strong software development skills
- Proficiency in Go and Python, including asynchronous programming with asyncio
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Operational knowledge of distributed storage such as Ceph
- Familiarity with serverless frontend platforms like Vercel or Cloudflare Pages Functions
- Understanding of Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks, including Layer 2 solutions like Polygon, Optimism, and Base
- Experience with scaling technologies such as optimistic rollups, zk-rollups, sidechains, and cross-chain bridges
- Working knowledge of blockchain infrastructure components including RPC nodes and IPFS
- Strong database skills with MongoDB and Postgres
- Experience using monitoring tools like Datadog or OpenTelemetry for observability
- Proven ability to debug complex systems across multiple layers, from runtime to infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
