Sopra Steria is looking for a Software Development Engineer to contribute to architectural design and the product roadmap for our banking and financing software products. You will play a key role in building high-quality solutions and acting as a mentor within the team.
What You'll Do
- Use deep technical understanding to contribute to the architectural design for the product.
- Contribute to defining the product roadmap and supporting end-to-end delivery of product releases.
- Build software products for banking and financing institutions with R&D teams.
- Enable, empower, and encourage teams for continuous improvement of technology and processes.
- Challenge and support people and engineering practices to improve product quality.
- Support governance of the product team to ensure quality and efficiency of solutions.
- Act as a mentor to the team and reinforce organizational values and culture.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent additional professional experience.
- 6-8 years of experience delivering frontend solutions as an engineer in global organizations.
- Extensive experience in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with the ReactJS library.
- Hands-on experience in Node JS.
- Hands-on experience with any redux middleware library for state management.
- Good understanding of React unit test libraries.
