Sortly is looking for a Software Engineer 2 - Frontend to develop user-focused solutions and enhance product performance. You'll join a global team committed to building a great product experience for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver awesome frontend product experiences.
- Write clear, readable, and testable code.
- Work with UX and PM teams to iterate and deliver the frontend experience, balancing functionality, performance, and usability.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in architecture discussions.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve developer productivity, code simplicity, and new functionality.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in React, Angular, Vue, or similar modern frameworks.
- Experience working with APIs and relevant middleware.
- Ability to effectively debug issues to identify and address root causes with a focus on performance.
- Demonstrated rigor in following and advocating for best engineering practices: modular and functional code, strong code reviews, test coverage, security, and performance testing.
- Abreast with the latest frontend technologies and trends.
- Flexibility to work across team members in multiple time zones while remote.
- Ability to think analytically and approach problems from first principles.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Typescript is a plus.
