Join a forward-thinking engineering team focused on advancing active safety systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles. In this role, you'll take ownership of core functionalities such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Intelligent Speed Assist, guiding them from concept through to deployment in real-world and simulated environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain safety-critical features using C++ and Python within an automotive-grade software stack
- Leverage proprietary simulation and data analysis platforms to validate system performance across thousands of virtual scenarios and extensive real-world datasets
- Conduct hands-on testing in prototype vehicles on test tracks and public roads to refine system behavior and reliability
- Collaborate with simulation, data, and adjacent development teams to streamline workflows and share tooling and components
- Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into development cycles
- Drive improvements in key performance indicators by analyzing test outcomes and iterating on system logic
Who You Are
You have a proven background in delivering driver assistance systems to production vehicles, with a strong grasp of automotive software quality standards. You're self-driven, technically agile, and thrive in fast-moving environments where precision and accountability matter.
- 4+ years of experience in software development for ADAS or automated driving systems
- Proficient in C++ and Python, with a track record of shipping production-grade automotive software
- Experience with requirements management, structured testing, and validation processes for safety-critical systems
- Ability to work independently and initiate improvements in complex technical environments
Preferred Background
- Production experience with active safety features such as AEB or LKA
- Familiarity with global regulatory standards for driver assistance technologies
- Hands-on work with prototype or test vehicles
