HARMAN is looking for a Software Engineer specializing in Android Framework to join our team. In this role, you will focus on developing and customizing the Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS) and its frameworks. We need a developer with a strong background in Android and Kotlin to help build seamless automotive experiences.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Android applications for AAOS using the Kotlin programming language.
- Customize and extend AAOS frameworks to meet specific project requirements.
- Integrate Android APIs and frameworks with AAOS to ensure seamless functionality.
- Optimize application performance to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues using a variety of tools and techniques.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Android development with the Kotlin programming language.
- Strong understanding of Android frameworks and AAOS architecture.
- Experience with Android app development, including UI/UX and API integration.
- Familiarity with AAOS architecture and customization.
- Experience with AAOS framework development and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Android framework development and customization.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and requirements.
- Experience with Java and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with testing and validation of Android applications and frameworks.
