We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, enhance, and maintain cloud-based digital services in a hybrid work setting based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping modern web applications and APIs, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and quality benchmarks across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and frontend interfaces using modern development frameworks
- Diagnose and resolve issues across production environments and integrated technology layers
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define, refine, and prioritize feature development
- Partner with architects to guide technical direction and promote coding best practices
- Develop and maintain automated test strategies to validate new and updated components
- Support the integration of systems to improve interoperability and operational efficiency
- Contribute to a transparent, inclusive work culture that values open communication and continuous learning
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of five years in software development with a focus on full lifecycle delivery
- Proven background in Agile methodologies and iterative development processes
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms, particularly Azure PaaS
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React or Vue, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Working knowledge of C#, .NET 5, RESTful APIs, and Microsoft SQL or Azure SQL
- Familiarity with source control using Git via Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and scripting in PowerShell or YAML
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and orchestration through Azure DevOps
Work Environment
This role operates under a hybrid model, requiring presence in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility for remote work on other days when no external commitments require travel.
