Responsibilities
- Create and manage backend infrastructure that enforces data access rules, retention policies, and privacy safeguards based on organizational policy.
- Build distributed systems for authorization that incorporate identity context directly within data and control plane services.
- Ensure compliance through implementation of audit trails, policy integration points, and observable enforcement mechanisms.
- Work closely with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to translate regulatory and privacy requirements into scalable technical architectures and accessible APIs.
- Strengthen data systems by applying default constraints on data handling and schema-level protections.
- Coordinate with infrastructure groups to maintain uniform enforcement of policies while reducing redundant implementations.
- Develop reusable tools, code patterns, and internal guidance to promote consistent and trustworthy data access practices company-wide.
