Join a team building foundational software systems for autonomous vehicle development. In this role, you'll design and implement Python-driven infrastructure that powers the autonomy stack, enabling faster iteration and broader deployment across diverse vehicle platforms and operating conditions.
What You'll Do
- Develop robust, scalable tooling in Python to support engineering teams across the development lifecycle.
- Build backend systems that enable vehicle communication, fleet coordination, and remote operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to shape architecture decisions and system design.
- Work on infrastructure that supports multiple vehicle types and environments, from urban worksites to off-road terrain.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least one year of hands-on experience delivering production-grade software in Python.
- Proven background in backend systems, developer tooling, or infrastructure development.
Preferred Background
- Advanced degree in computer science or applied mathematics with research or coursework in robotics.
- Experience with autonomous driving, driver assistance, or off-road vehicle systems.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role with primary locations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. While the team works from the office most days, there's flexibility to accommodate personal commitments, including starting remotely or adjusting schedules when needed. Benefits & Compensation
Compensation includes a competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $222,000 USD annually, equity in the form of options or restricted stock, and comprehensive benefits.
