About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop backend systems to detect and mitigate fraudulent activity
- Design and deploy real-time monitoring tools for suspicious behavior
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to define risk policies
- Implement machine learning models to identify high-risk transactions
- Improve account security and authentication mechanisms
- Respond to emerging threats with rapid incident resolution
- Optimize data pipelines for risk analytics
- Maintain system reliability under high load
- Conduct root cause analysis of security incidents
- Enhance fraud prevention workflows with automation
- Support investigations by providing technical data access
- Evaluate third-party risk tools and services
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Scale infrastructure to meet growing platform demands
- Document system designs and operational procedures
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning
- Monitor system performance and fix issues proactively
- Integrate user reporting features into core products
- Contribute to long-term roadmap for trust and safety
- Use metrics to measure the impact of risk controls
- Improve detection accuracy while reducing false positives
- Work with data scientists to refine risk scoring models
- Build APIs for internal risk management tools
- Support A/B testing of new fraud prevention strategies

Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
