Role Overview
This position serves as the technical anchor for the regional sales team, focusing on enterprise clients across Germany. The Solutions Engineer works directly with prospects and partners to assess security challenges, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure technical alignment throughout the sales cycle. The role emphasizes customer trust-building, solution clarity, and seamless collaboration between sales, engineering, and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales and channel teams to advance enterprise opportunities and support technical decision-making
- Translate customer requirements into effective solution designs and drive technical acceptance
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to audience expertise
- Respond to technical requests for proposals with accurate, detailed, and compliant documentation
- Lead training and certification initiatives for resellers and partner organizations
- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and customer-facing technical forums
- Assist in proof-of-concept deployments, installations, and troubleshooting as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years in technical sales or sales engineering focused on cybersecurity or networking software
- Proven ability to engage with technical and executive stakeholders, from IT administrators to CISOs
- Strong experience presenting complex technologies and leading live application demos
- Hands-on background deploying and troubleshooting enterprise software on Windows and Linux platforms
- Self-driven with a focus on diagnosing customer challenges and delivering effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work with enterprise security software, especially in network or device protection
- Familiarity with sandboxing, anti-malware technologies, and related market dynamics
- Working knowledge of API architecture and integration principles
- Experience using CRM systems to track and manage technical sales activities
Technical Environment
Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments is essential. Experience with API-driven integrations and CRM platforms is expected. The role operates within a technically rigorous, customer-facing context requiring both depth and adaptability.
