The Spam and Abuse Analyst plays a key role in maintaining system integrity by actively monitoring production environments and identifying patterns of misuse. You'll analyze data to detect spam and abusive behavior, then implement rule-based responses to mitigate current and future risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously observe system performance and respond to incidents across all MSA platforms
- Analyze electronic communications and behavioral data to detect anomalies and abuse trends
- Design and deploy rules to counteract spam and policy violations
- Provide actionable feedback to software and machine learning teams to enhance detection systems
- Support planning, development, and quality assurance processes with product and project coordination
- Write Python scripts to automate analysis and enable advanced response capabilities
Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and experience interpreting data, particularly in areas like fraud detection or messaging systems. Fluency in English is essential for clear communication. The role demands adaptability in a high-velocity setting.
Technical proficiency in Python is a plus. Applicants from Skopje must be available for second shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM CEST), while those in Taipei will work standard daytime hours.
