- Design and configure HMI interfaces using Ignition, Wonderware, or FactoryTalk platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and vendors to align system design with operational goals
- Review electrical schematics and produce accurate as-built documentation
- Commission and troubleshoot automated systems on-site, resolving control-level issues
- Support integration of industrial networks including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide best practices
- Ensure compliance with design standards, safety protocols, and project timelines
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in industrial controls. Proficiency in PLC programming (Rockwell required), HMI development, and low-voltage electrical systems is essential. Familiarity with VFDs, motor controls, and industrial communication protocols is expected.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead technical efforts are critical. Experience managing project tasks and coordinating with cross-functional teams will support success in this role.
