The Sr. Data Solutions Architect at Onebridge is responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable data architectures that support enterprise-level analytics and data integration. This role requires translating business needs into technical solutions, leading data integration efforts, and providing technical mentorship to engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Lead the integration of data from various sources using tools such as Talend, ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance.
- Architect cloud-based data platforms and pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and others.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data security across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers, guiding solution design and implementation.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture patterns for data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Talend for data integration, transformation, and orchestration.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Scala.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across teams and geographies.
