Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and expand a team of data and analytics engineers, including recruitment, performance evaluation, career growth, planning, and establishing technical benchmarks.
- Create and align the data engineering and analytics strategy with organizational objectives, prioritizing investments in data platforms, reporting systems, analytical tools, and enterprise-wide data projects.
- Manage the architecture, dependability, scalability, and governance of data systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT workflows, orchestration frameworks, semantic models, and business intelligence platforms.
- Ensure stakeholders across product, operations, finance, sales, marketing, and executive teams have access to precise dashboards, metrics, reports, and on-demand analysis for informed decision-making.
- Promote organization-wide self-service analytics by developing reliable, well-documented datasets and enabling intuitive access through AI-driven natural language query tools.
- Define and enforce standards for data quality, lineage tracking, documentation practices, access permissions, data privacy, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
