Key Responsibilities
- Build and refine monthly forecasts with a focus on accuracy, integrating unit volume, average selling price, and revenue projections into enterprise planning systems.
- Collaborate with Finance to align demand plans and document variances, ensuring transparency and data integrity across reporting platforms.
- Lead cross-functional forecast review sessions with Sales and Finance teams to align on goals and operational priorities.
- Produce weekly performance dashboards that track progress against KPIs, delivering timely insights to executive stakeholders.
- Translate analytical results into clear, strategic narratives for C-suite audiences, enabling informed decision-making.
- Maintain data consistency across Tableau, Essbase, and internal tools, serving as the primary point of accountability for sales data quality.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of historical performance and market conditions to uncover growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Establish standardized benchmarks and performance metrics in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Deliver rapid analytical support for critical business initiatives, including scenario modeling and impact assessments.
- Identify inefficiencies in forecasting workflows and implement improvements to reduce manual effort and increase forecast reliability.
Qualifications
You bring 5–7 years of experience in sales analytics, finance, or operations, ideally within the interactive entertainment sector. Strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and a detail-driven mindset are essential. You communicate effectively across departments and executive levels, turning complex data into clear business guidance. Familiarity with Tableau and Essbase is preferred, and bilingual English/Japanese skills are a valuable asset.
Proficiency in console and PC gaming is expected, reflecting a genuine engagement with the industry. This is an onsite role based in San Francisco, CA, with no remote option available.
