Lightcast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this remote role, you will play a key part in architecting and delivering robust software solutions that support our mission.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software systems
- Lead and contribute to technical design discussions and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features
- Mentor other engineers and help elevate the team's technical capabilities
- Identify and implement process and technology improvements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-grade software
- Expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a remote setting
