Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of DevOps practices by designing and refining CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based orchestration, and resilient cloud infrastructure to enable seamless software delivery.
- Establish and enforce security as a foundational element in system design through strict access controls, secrets handling, automated vulnerability detection, and proactive compliance measures.
- Integrate AI-powered development tools responsibly, emphasizing output validation, assumption testing, and setting benchmarks for ethical and effective AI adoption.
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems by defining service level objectives, managing incident response, and improving detection and resolution times with robust observability.
- Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code frameworks that standardize deployments, minimize manual effort, and incrementally resolve systemic technical debt.
- Set the strategic direction for platform architecture across engineering teams, guiding design decisions to align with long-term technical and business goals.
- Identify and implement high-impact solutions using cutting-edge technologies, prioritizing innovation over convention to solve complex challenges.
- Continuously assess and refine cloud infrastructure to balance reliability, cost efficiency, and performance in collaboration with product and engineering leaders.
- Proactively manage interdependencies across teams, clarify risks, and coordinate change across technical and organizational boundaries.
- Elevate team capabilities through hands-on mentorship, technical reviews, architectural guidance, and documentation, while contributing to senior-level hiring and development.
