As a Staff Software Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end product delivery, guiding projects from initial concept through to deployment and beyond. You'll work directly with clients to understand their objectives, translate needs into technical solutions, and ensure outcomes align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development efforts, including design, implementation, testing, and incident response, in fast-moving, AI-powered environments
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define requirements and shape system architecture
- Partner with clients to gather insights, refine scope, and deliver meaningful functionality
- Champion best practices in engineering culture, from code quality to operational excellence
Qualifications
You bring deep experience in building and scaling software systems. A strong foundation in computer science principles, distributed architectures, and modern development workflows is essential. You’ve led technical initiatives across the entire product lifecycle and can balance innovation with reliability.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from inception to production, including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident management
- Strong grasp of scalable system design, data modeling, and algorithmic thinking
- Fluency in multiple programming languages and frameworks across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure
Technology Environment
You’ll work across a broad stack including TypeScript, Python, Java, Golang, and modern frameworks like React, Next.js, and Spring. Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure are used extensively, along with event-driven systems like Kafka and SQS. AI/ML integration, LLMs, and advanced data pipelines are core to many projects, leveraging tools like Vertex AI, OpenAI, and Huggingface.
